About the event
The Division of General Education at HKAC presented a campus screening of Soul on Fire, a compelling new documentary directed by Oren Rudavsky that explores the life and legacy of Elie Wiesel, Nobel Peace Prize laureate and author of Night. Through archival footage and reflective narration, the film confronts the urgency of remembrance and the moral weight of storytelling in the aftermath of atrocity.
The screening took place on December 4, 2025 at the Lecture Hall, Administration Building, HKAC, with two showings scheduled at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Subtitles are available in English only; no Chinese translation will be provided.
This event was held in partnership with the Hong Kong Holocaust and Tolerance Centre and the Hong Kong Jewish Film Festival.
