Science Club is a group of teachers and students having keen interest to promote science through practical activities based on HKAC. The Hong Kong Adventist College Science Club will provide a consistent meeting and training programme to train the members learning Sciences via participation of internal and external Science activities. Their administration team members are elected to fill in a structured club organization. All the members are welcome to take part in the assigned training programme. The programme includes a series of projects designed to improve students’ Chinese and English public speaking skills using up-dated interesting topics of public concern. Members are going to have regular meetings and training programmes once a month as well as additional meetings for specific programme. During the meetings, each student will speak in turn to the club.

Hong Kong Adventist College Science Club, provides students an opportunity to give speeches, and constructive evaluation of the club. Everyone is going to speak and present in front of all of the members. After completing all the projects, members can get an Award. Public speech experts and the speech contest champions from the Science Clubs will give training lessons regularly.

Moreover, there are in-house presentations of their work project and public presentation competitions set for the members so that they can make good use of what they have learnt. Therefore, members of our Science Club, will benefit a lot from the on going programmes as working with others in a supportive environment.

What do our members do in Science Club?

• Members are encouraged to invite guests such as teachers and students for specific meetings and project presentations.
• Members are trained to apply for internal or external funding for accomplishing their projects.
  
  We have regular meetings once a month from 3:30pm to  4:30pm on the day(s) assigned.
