Aims and Objectives

• To obtain a thorough understanding of the discipline, including the areas of clinical, developmental and educational psychology;

• To provide fundamental training for a professional and academic career in psychology.

• To provide students with knowledge and skills in the study of human behaviors and relationships;

• To introduce students to the salient discoveries and procedures accumulated from research in psychology;

• To engage students in dynamic learning activities including lectures, laboratory work and field experience;

• To empower students to utilize this knowledge in furthering the mission of Seventh-day Adventists: restoring men and women to the image of their Maker.
