PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Division of Arts, Humanities & Health seeks to promote balance in the education of students by providing opportunities to appreciate the fine arts, history, philosophy, psychology and sociology as well as the essential elements of the sciences, health and physical exercise.  For this reason, the College requires a general, liberal arts education of all its students.  Many of the general studies courses are offered by the Division of Arts, Humanities & Health.  The Division also provides more specialized training by offering one four-year diploma program, two-year diplomas and certificates, and minors in several disciplines.  In addition, the Division offers courses leading to Seventh-day Adventist teacher certification.
