PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Division of Business seeks to prepare business and service leaders for the Seventh-day Adventist Church and its institutions and for the business community at large by providing quality business and computer science programs which will form the professional and intellectual foundation for the productive lives of people and long-range success of organizations. Regardless of the setting in which its graduates will eventually work, the Division aims to develop professionally prepared managers, financiers, programmers, technicians, and other service personnel whose integrity, honesty, and efficiency are beyond reproach.
Objectives
To provide students with basic business administration skills required for initial job placement.
To assist students in developing a sound Christian philosophy towards the world of work and in particular, the changing business environment.
To give students a broad background in the free enterprise system through study of several disciplines of business.
To encourage Seventh-day Adventist students to prepare for positions of business leadership and service within organizations sponsored by the denomination.
